Posted by LNA Master Landscapers Association on 16 June 2016

The 202020 Vision team have launched 4 new exciting initiatives recently, and as partners and supporters of the 202020 Vision Campaign, the LNA is delighted!
As you may remember, the 202020 Vision Campaign is a collaborative effort to make urban spaces 20% greener by the year 2020.

The Directory of Good Design
The team at 202020 have just launched 'The Directory of Good Design' aimed at recognising excellence and innovation in urban green space design and to showcase best-practice green space design solutions that create vibrant urban spaces around Australia. 20 outstanding examples of green design have been brought together and show how cutting-edge approaches to greening Australian spaces can be achieved by thinking about ways to improve walls, roofs, homes, buildings and even entire suburbs.

The 202020 Vision Team have assembled this Directory as an online resource and a collaborative forum where professionals, government, community members and the public can share their projects, experience and knowledge, as well as inspire further great design.

Green Design Award
In celebration of the launch of the Directory of Good Design, 202020 Vision have partnered with Good Design Australia to create the very first Green Design Award. The Award provides important recognition to the vital role of green and living infrastructure design to the health of our built environment.

This year's Award has been won by The Goods Line, designed by ASPECT Studios in conjunction with CHROFI. The project transformed a dull, isolated industrial corridor in Darling Harbour into a vibrant green space.

The Black Book of Green People
The 202020 Vision team received feedback that it would be easier to collaborate with other green individuals and organisations if people were able to know what others were offering. In response, the team has launched the 'Black Book of Green People' aiming to facilitate cross-sector collaboration and opportunities for leveraging the expertise of other organisations in a productive fashion.

You can access the Black Book of Green People by clicking here.

You can also add yourself or your own business to this resource by clicking here on the networking page and sending a message to 202020 Vision by clicking the 'ADD YOURSELF' button.

Partnership with The Australian newspaper
Through their media partnership with The Australian, The 202020 Vision team have also developed a special digital magazine to feature this year's Green Design Award and other top projects from the Directory of Good Design. You can read this magazine by clicking here.

The Australian is also hosting a digital magazine with 202020 Vision, naming Australia's top 22 green space experts. To read this magazine, click here.

The LNA would like to congratulate the whole 202020 Vision team on these wonderful new initiatives and are proud to partner with and support the campaign.
