Canberra Tree Week

Posted by LNA Master Landscapers Association on 27 April 2016

Monday the 2nd of May to Sunday the 8th of May is the 2016 annual Canberra Tree Week!

This event is an opportunity to celebrate the beautiful and exceptional trees and forests of Canberra, especially in Autumn when the colours of the trees really come alive. Discover the many benefits trees offer to our communities, local wildlife and particularly the Canberra environment, with many exciting and interesting activities being held throughout the Nation's capital.

As part of Canberra Tree Week, you can enjoy:

  • Guided and private walking tours
  • Self-guided walks maps and booklets available from the Visitors Centre
  • A 'Buy Smart, Plant Smart' 2 hour workshop on tree planting in suburban backyards
  • Birdwatching.
