It is with great pleasure that the LNA announce Gosford Quarries as a new Platinum Corporate Partner.
For nearly one hundred years, Gosford Quarries has been synonymous with sandstone in Australia, and are widely recognised for their expertise in the quarrying and processing of natural Australian sandstone.
Situated at Gosford on the Central Coast, Gosford Quarries cut and supplied much of the 'Gosford Grey' sandstone which was in high demand in the 1930s up until World War II. Following the War, Gosford Quarries grew from strength-to-strength building places of significance in Sydney and wider Australia.
In May 2014, Gosford Quarries merged with sandstone specialists, Sarkis Bros, combining over 140 years of experience and expertise in stonemasonry. Bringing with it a variety of long-term benefits including better pricing, the Merger allowed Gosford Quarries to introduce a broad range of specialised services such as in-house designers, heritage consultants and 3D modelling. They ensure the highest quality standards, continuously testing the stone to confirm the accuracy and currency of the geotechnical results and they are readily available for customers.
Moving into the future, Gosford Quarries are opening even more showrooms throughout NSW and ACT so as to be more accessible to the wider Australian market and offer a greater range to suit all budgets. All their showrooms have a wide variety of paving, slabs, cladding, landscape walling, ballast, billets, logs and many more popular sandstone products.
'Gosford Quarries embraces 'continuity of product' which involves
using matching stone to that which was used decades ago. '
Australian Sandstone has been a foundational building and landscape material in the Australia used extensively to build some of Sydney's and Canberra's most iconic buildings. Sandstone is a prestigious and elegant product, popular in residential and commercial projects due to its durability, colour and ability to be shaped.
Gosford Quarries can provide sandstone for paving, cladding, solid block walling, carving and profiling. These products can be used for pool surrounds, retaining walls, garden edging, flooring, walling and facades, bring an ageless style to and landscaping project that is uniquely Australian.
The LNA is very excited to have established a relationship with this great Australian business, and its rich history influencing the Australian landscape. Once again, we would like to thank and congratulate Gosford Quarries for their support of the Landscaping Industry and welcome them to the LNA family!
