NSW Fair Trading Commissioner Rose Webb today warned consumes not to deal with Anthony Lee Francis also known as Tony Francis who has traded in NSW under the business name Tiger Concrete and Excavation Group.
Ms Webb said Fair Trading is concerned that Mr Francis may be seeking to trade without a licence. Mr Francis does not hold a current NSW contractor licence.
Mr Francis seeks residential building work mainly in the class of general concreting including driveways and footpaths. In some cases after contracting for the work and accepting payment, Mr Francis leaves the work incomplete does not perform any work at all, and then fails to refund consumers their money.
Ms Webb said consumers should only deal with licensed traders for work that can only be performed by those who hold an appropriate licence. Ms Webb emphasised the need for consumers to verify licence details here or call 13 32 20.
Anyone who has had problems in their dealings with Mr Francis and his association to any trading names, or has information about his continued operation should contact NSW Fair Trading.
