Exciting New Application for Apprenticeship Students, Employers and Supervisors

Posted by LNA Master Landscapers Association on 10 June 2016

The NSW Government have been seeking ways to improve completion rates for apprentices and trainees recently. As part of this initiative, the NSW Minister for Regional Development, Skills and Small Business, the Honourable John Barilaro, launched a new application for mobile devices to assist students, supervisors and employers to more easily manage the apprenticeship process.

The application entitled 'ATLAS' is designed to direct students to information they may need to know while working through their apprenticeship or traineeship and can also act as a log book, replacing the need for the traditional paper-based log.

ATLAS can quickly direct students to information on almost all aspects of their apprenticeship, such as health issues, travel entitlements, workplace bullying or fair wages and is a tool that can be used any time on mobile devices.
