Green Building Day 2016 is a local event following on from the global discussions at the 21st Conference of Parties (COP21) held in Paris in December last year. COP21 discussed the UN's Environmental Program (UNEP) and highlighted the increasing need for sustainability in the building and construction industries and the pivotal role green techniques and strategies play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
This event, to be held in Sydney on Tuesday the 31st of May (with additional conferences to be held in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth) will discuss local means of achieving the world-wide target of limiting global warming to 2 degrees or less.
The Green Building Day full-day conference program features a combination of industry experts, future leaders and ground-breaking case studies. To see a full program list for the Sydney event you can click here.
