How do you find out what development constraints apply to properties?

Posted by LNA Master Landscapers Association on 10 August 2016

The LNA would like to draw your attention to a useful web-searching tool offered by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment.

For those of you needing information regarding development constraints applying to properties or Council areas, there is a search feature available. The 'Find a Property' search allows you to find out what development constraints may apply to a particular piece of land, property or Council area. The information is shown on a user-friendly map that allows users to quickly navigate the planning controls applying to individual parcels of land.

To access the 'Find a Property' search function online, click here.
