This is reminder to all our Members that time is running out to take advantage of the Early Bird ticket prices for the LNZ Intelligro Conference to be held in Christchurch from the 4th-6th August this year. To access the great early discounts registration and payment must be made no later than 17th June.
Our own CEO, Joanne Aquilina has been invited to speak and will be holding an interactive presentation on the second day, representing a unique opportunity for growing our relationship with our New Zealand counterparts.
For those of you who missed our earlier blog, here are some of the highlights of the upcoming conference:
A bus tour of the local gardens of significance, including a visit to the award-winning Christchurch Botanic Gardens to view the annual light show 'Botanic D'Lights'. The finalists in the Landscaping New Zealand City Parks Services Young Landscaper of the Year competition will also be completing the practical section of the competition at this time and spectators to this are more than welcome
A presentation by keynote speaker Sir Gil Simpson on IT, e-commerce and a holistic approach to landscape
An afternoon design exercise session that will leave its mark on Christchurch
Landscaping New Zealand City Parks and Services Young Landscaper of the Year dinner and winning entrant announcement
A presentation by keynote speaker Gilbert Enoka, expert on performance enhancement. Amongst other roles, Gilbert has worked with the All Blacks as Manager of Leadership and will discuss how individuals can learn to take ownership of their own direction and performance.

A visit to the CBD red zone for a guided walk and meetings with prominent figures involved in rebuilding Christchurch following the earthquake in 2010
