Over this Anzac weekend, Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th, the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens is holding their annual Autumn Open Garden Weekend and Plant Fair.
This year, there are 6 cool climate gardens to explore, a combination of larger gardens in the district and smaller town gardens available for viewing. This year's gardens include:
Greenbrier Park - Mittagong
The Garden House - Burradoo
Sutton Tops Sutton - Forest
Whare-Tau - Exeter
Arden - Bundanoon
Eastdene - Bundanoon.
In addition to these beautiful gardens, visitors can explore the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens Plant Fair in Bowral featuring a vast array of rare, unusual and hard-to-find plants, all raised locally by the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens Plant Growers Group and available for purchase. The nursery will be open from 9am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday so come and enjoy a warm cup of coffee while finding some beautiful new plants for your garden!
