Do you have an apprentice or are you thinking of hiring an apprentice? Then you may be interested to know a little more about the 'Future of Apprenticeships Workshop' that took place in May this year.
LNA representatives attended this important workshop hosted by the NSW Industry Training Advisory Bodies (ITABs). ITABs are autonomous, industry based bodies that represent their industries on training and related matters to support the vocational education and training system. There are 11 ITABs, with each covering specific industry sectors. NSW ITABs are a key source of industry advice for the NSW Government. ITABs provide streamlined, unique and timely advice to the Department of Education and Communities on the training and skill needs of their NSW industry sectors to facilitate workforce development.
