The Horticulture VET Qualifications and units of competence included in the AHC Training Package are under review and this review has now moved into the consultation phase.
The review of Horticulture VET Qualifications includes all Landscaping Qualifications and Skill Sets, Parks & Gardens Qualifications, General Horticulture Qualifications and Sports Turf Qualifications.
As part of the initial review phase, LNA requested that a clear and distinct articulation pathway be endorsed for the Landscape construction industry from initial Trade qualifications through to Diploma qualifications. Agrifoods have taken on board our concerns and have included new qualifications and Skills Sets. We are confident by the beginning of 2016 that there will be a dedicated pathway for members of our industry to articulate into further relevant qualifications and progress the industry and skills base.
You now have the opportunity to review the draft documents that have been uploaded onto the Agrifoods website. As these qualifications and skills sets affect your industry LNA encourages all members to contribute.
