Q  Can I enter the same project in multiple categories?  ie Residential Construction and Residential Design and Construction

A  Yes you may.

Q  Do I need to engage a professional Photographer or Videographer?

A  No, but we do require at least 3-4 high resolution photographs to show the garden/construction as a whole in the landscape. Aspects of beauty and lifestyle can be demonstrated with these images which will be used for marketing purposes and during the Awards Ceremony.

Q  What sort of photographs do I need for judging?

A Judging photographs - Demonstrate in detail the quality of the construction; such as close ups of gaps between stone in retaining walls, edging, straightness of lines, levels, paving etc.  Throughout the form photographs are requested to be uploaded.

Q  When do the entries close?

A  Entries close on Friday 29 June 2018.

Q  Can I re-enter projects from previous years?

A  Yes, but only if they have not won an award.  Projects that have previously won an award may not be re-entered unless in a maintenance category, and then, not until three  years have elapsed after winning.

Q  What is the Affiliate Supplier of the Year and Affiliate Trade Service Supplier of the Year Awards?

A  All Affiliate Members are automatically entered into this award category. This award is a great way to recognise and reward good business practises, and acknowledge the support our Affiliate members provide to the industry.  Member votes determine the winner of this category. Voting is open to all LNA Landscape and Maintenance Members in the form of a 3,2,1 system. Members are asked to cast their vote via an online voting system. Members will be advised by email when the voting is open.

Q Why do I need owners consent?

A The LNA Judging Panel may decide to inspect the project as part of the adjudication process and this authorisation allows them to do so.

Q Will the Judges be doing site visits?

A Site visits are at the discretion of the Judging Panel.  Due to the number of entries received across the growing number of categories, the judges are simply not able to visit all the sites within a reasonable time frame and at a reasonable cost so the decision was made to review the entries by photograph and video submission.

Q What is the cost per entry?

A Each entry cost $160.00 each.
