-  Hedging, pruning, weeding, mowing, edging and using a blower to clean up
- Composting and mulching
- Pest and disease diagnosis and treatment
- Spraying for weeds and pests
- Planting, transplanting and removal of unwanted plants.
- Irrigation Maintenance
- Fertilising  

Essential Requirements

Minimum 3 years Maintenance Experience
Certificate in Horticulture preferred
Flexibility to do help landscape construction team with softscape and labouring if required Have a strong work ethic, enthusiastic, positive attitude and work well in a team.
Polite to customers and ability to communicate with them Well presented, punctual and honest.
Potential to supervise
Keen eye for detail
Drivers licence and vehicle to get to sites.

We are currently seeking the services of a Landscape Estimator to join our established and professional team. You will be in control of the entire tendering/estimating. Key responsibilities: ⢠Prepare accurate and comprehensive costings for project estimates, ascertaining that all areas have been accounted for, prior to submitting an estimate for review ⢠Review quantity estimates and project costs prepared by suppliers and subcontractors and appropriately challenge costings supplied. ⢠Produce Bill of Quantities from drawings and site Inspections ⢠Provide genuine input to deliver better value for money ⢠Prepare all tender documentation requirements ⢠Responsible for estimating through all tender stages ⢠Manage tasks and work to scheduled deadlines

Essential Requirements 

The successful applicant will have: ⢠Proven experience in a similar role, pricing and estimating large commercial landscape or construction projects with a minimum of 2 yearsâ experience. ⢠Certificate III in Landscaping preferred ⢠Workcover General Construction Induction Card (Whitecard) ⢠Class C Drivers License ⢠High level of knowledge and commitment to safework practices. ⢠The ability to work under pressure, be reliable, energetic and self-motivated. ⢠Site experience in a Supervisory role highly regarded.

The position is for a Landscape Maintenance person. We are looking for a person who is neat and tidy, has an eye for detail, good work ethic, able to manage their time efficiently and is physically fit. Great opportunity to join our professional landscaping maintenance team. The role is a hands-on position that requires the applicant to be able to manage individual sites to ensure that newly completed landscape projects achieve the intended potential.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Establishment and maintenance of completed landscape works.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • Preparing and following work schedules.
  • Supervision and direction of staff.
  • Compliance with OHS and Environmental requirements.
  • Maintaining log books and records of work activities.
  • Maintenance of onsite irrigation systems.
  • Basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Accountability for Company assets used to perform duties.

As well as the key responsilities mentioned above, the position requires the applicant to be able to diagnose and respond to onsite issues as they arise as well as implementing procedures that will pro-actively address potential problems before they arise.

The position is for an Irrigation Role. This role is for a MOTIVATED individual capable of working by themselves and with a Team. ABOVE award wage PLUS work vehicle and phone. The role is a primarily a hands-on position that requires the applicant to be able to coordinate irrigation works with the site supervisor as well as supervise junior staff in the installation of irrigation systems

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing budgets and variations
  • MDPE and PVC pipework and assembly
  • Installation of valves and control systems
  • Drip irrigation and sprinkler installation
  • Working with Foreman to coordinate work, create and achieve program dates
  • Implementing and ensuring adherence with the companies WHS and Environmental Policies
  • Coordinating and ordering materials
  • Supervision of staff
  • Maintenance of existing irrigation systems.
  • Programming, Commissioning and Reporting on all irrigation systems installed by the company.
  • Providing detailed "As builts" of installed systems.
  • Accountability for Company assets used to perform duties.

In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned above, the position requires the applicant to be able to diagnose and respond to onsite issues as they arise.

As the successful applicant, we will invest resources to bring you up to par in any areas where you may be currently under skilled. In addition, future training will be encouraged to expand your skills with the intention of making the role management based as the company continues to grow.

We require you to have:

  • A sound horticultural knowledge and or knowledge of irrigation systems.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • At least (3) years of experience in installation of Irrigation systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding irrigation and landscape drawings.
  • Current Drivers licence (Manual)
  • Green/white Card.
  • A basic ability in the use of computers and mobile technologies (training can be provided).
